Thought I would add a little bit of music to my Monday MOJO. The people in the video confirm that if you follow your passion, success will follow. None of them quit before they succeeded, even though their path may have changed 100% from its original destination.
Enjoy the music track as well as the video message.

2Wheel 2zdaize
Hey all, hope you had a great week and got out to do some riding. I did not because at time of writing it is -38C(that is really fricken cold in Fahrenheit) outside and about a foot of snow, so no riding this week.
This 2wheel 2zdaize is dedicated to my 2nd dirt bike. It was a 1981 YZ80.
This picture is pulled from the net.
I bought it at an auction for $50 back in 1984ish, can't remember exactly. But I know I had my drivers license because I was alone at the auction and hauled it home in the back of the truck.
Upon, some basic inspection I discovered that it was not getting gas to the carb, thus the problem with not running. Having some mechanical skills for my age I pulled the gas line off and tried to blow it out, no luck. So feeling along the gas line I found a hard section, kind of like a snake after eating a rat, I cut it open to find a small piece of wood swelled up tight inside the line. To this day I still do not know how a piece of wood would get into the middle of a gas line but there it was. Luckily I lived on a farm so we had all kinds of engine parts and stuff i.e. junk, laying around to scavenge a piece of fuel line off of. After a quick retro fit and a couple of kicks on the kicker, the bike sprang to life. I could not believe it, and figured there must be something else wrong, but before I did a thorough inspection I took it out for a quick and I mean quick rip. In hindsight, that was probably not the smartest thing, but as I said I was a farm kid and thinking ahead was not an attribute I possessed. Luckily she held together and just like that I had a perfectly running dirt bike, and holy crap did that thing have a power band. I could get through most of the gears and not stop spinning the rear wheel the whole time, pretty good power upgrade from the TS100. I figured it was time to buy a helmet.
It was a great little bike, and my younger cousins enjoyed it after I outgrew it. That was also the demise of the bike as it slowly became unrepairable.

2Wheeled Tuesdays
Well in keeping with my new format, I have added 2Wheeled Tuesdays to my posting. This is for inspiring me as well as giving me an excuse to watch countless video's about motorcycles and motorcycle travel.
My motorcycle experience started when I was a toddler and my Uncle came to visit us on our farm with his motorcycle. It was some kind of Honda CB750 or maybe a Kawi. I will have to ask him the next time I see him. But regardless he put the bug in by head about riding, and by the time I was 12 I had convinced my Dad to buy me a used dirt bike "for practical purposes only". You see, I was a farm kid and the addition of a dirt bike would allow me to get out to the field after school to help with the farm work. Dad seen through this like an open window but went along with it anyway. So in honor of my first bike, a 1973 Suzuki TS100, my first 2 wheeled Tuesday post is dedicated to that bike.
This video is of the same model and color as my first bike but is a 185cc instead of the smaller 100cc, but alas it is not the same trusty steed that carried me on many a young boys adventures. My bike is still back on the farm and thinking of it now would make for a great restoration project. hmmmm. and I am heading out there for Christmas. hmmmm. stay tuned....

MOJO Monday #1
Now this is not the typical post that one might expect from a guy who has spent the majority of his life on a motorcycle. I have been on a search for many years, searching for what? you might ask. Well, when I find it I will let you know, until then I will just keep searching.
I thought that putting up a motivational post on Mondays would be a great way to start the week. Les Brown says in the attached video "that the majority of first heart attacks take place between 8-9am on Monday mornings" as people feel overwhelmed with the stress of heading to the workplace. Often a place they hate going to, where they feel under appreciated, under paid, over pressured to perform in a career they have little or no passion for. And we wonder why innocent "Monday Morning" has gotten such a bad rap over the years. Well, I say "NO MORE". Mojo Mondays are to be my start to a wonderful day and the kickoff to a productive week. Hopefully you will join me and please leave some comments if you like.
I have had the privilege of seeing Mr. Brown speak recently. He is a very powerful speaker and I suppose that is why he is one of the most highly acclaimed motivational speakers of our time. If you ever get the chance to see him live, I feel it is well worth your time.
The following is a small sample of him, he always makes me laugh with his "Hungry" line. For me his is Very powerful, very thought provoking and above all very moving.
Enjoy

MOJO Monday #2
Ah, the joy of another Mojo Monday. The fresh start of another week full of possibilities and opportunities.
A few years back I was fortunate enough to see Mr. Brain Tracy speak. He was quite different than I expected, not a bunch of RAH!RAH! pump you up, and send you on your way stuff. He actually gave useful tools from the stage that could be implemented into everyday activities. For example--the very basic action of telling yourself "I think I can." instead of all the other thoughts that we sometimes tell ourselves. More importantly, when we find ourselves feeling full of doubt about an upcoming sales call or whatever action it is that you are involved with, that is precisely when we need "I think I can." more than ever. I was not able to find any video of that presentation so instead I have provided a short video of another wonderful gift from Mr. Tracy. Enjoy the gift of another Mojo Monday, and the start to another wonderful week.
